So it’s been a very interesting time for us at Immortal Media Studios just lately. To start off though, whilst we are currently living during these uncertain times we know that the vast majority of our fans of Virtual Towers Online were all looking forward to getting back into theme parks across the country and even further afield around the world.  We were very much looking forward to getting back to Alton Towers for its opening weekend, not only to start collecting data for further expansions but also to get over those closed season blues. However on a more positive note we cannot thank everyone enough for the exposure that they have helped us get over the last week. We have gone from getting only a handful of downloads a day to sky rocketing to over 100 downloads each and every day and that makes us immensely proud of what we are doing. 

With this we felt it was time to reveal what we have been up to recently, this started off with screenshots from the game and then finally yesterday we embarked on a stream as a way of showing off where we are at. There is a link to the archived video footage on our YouTube channel, please feel free to watch it, we do plan to do more streams in the future so do keep an eye open for any announcements on them.

With regards to a new release, we are currently working as hard as we can to get a release ready, this will be released through itch.io allowing us to take advantage of their updater and launcher program meaning smaller update downloads for everyone. The plan for the next build is to include the following areas:

X-Sector, Adventureland, Towers Street, Mutiny Bay, Entrance Plaza and some of the carpark area around the Entrance Plaza. Please note however, this list is not exhaustive and more areas may be added or some may not make it at first.
